RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week
• Variable days of the week with weekend coverage required on a rotating basis (at least every other weekend, potentially more depending on staffing needs)
• Patient ratio of 9 patients per shift
• Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology experience required
• Prior outpatient Oncology Infusion Center experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Charting experience in Epic preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, OCN
• California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Perform infusions, injections, port and PICC line management, and therapeutic phlebotomy
• Administer chemotherapy, blood and blood products, and other specialty infusion therapies
• Manage central lines, implanted ports, and PICC lines
• Utilize peripheral IV ultrasound equipment
• Provide care for patients with oncology, rheumatology, allergy, GI, pregnancy, and infectious disease diagnoses
• Treat adolescent and adult patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit secretaries
• Handle hazardous drugs in accordance with NIOSH and USP 800 guidelines
