Mammography Technologist Job in Palo Alto, CA

You will work as a Mammography Technologist at Sutter Health Palo Alto Medical Foundation - 49 Wells Building, performing diagnostic and screening mammography services for adult patients.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts with variable times including 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays
• Willingness to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening shifts required
• Overtime opportunities available
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,110.40

Requirements

• Current CRT, BLS, and California license
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• ARRT in mammography preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Two professional references from within the last year
• Seven-year work history verification
• Available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing

Clinical Responsibilities

You will perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography using Hologic 3D equipment, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies. You will adhere to radiation safety protocols, isolation precautions, personal protective equipment requirements, and universal precautions/core measures when working with patients.

Orientation and Training

You will complete a 40-hour orientation period that includes non-billable modules averaging 1–5 hours. All required certifications and competencies must be verified prior to independent practice.
