OR Registered Nurse Job in Augusta, GA

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 70-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 shifts (days), earning $2,275.20 weekly, with a start date of June 22, 2026.

Role Overview

You will staff 16 operating rooms in the main OR, supporting an average daily census of 35 cases. You will circulate and scrub across General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures. The facility uses Epic charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, and operates 2 DaVinci XI robots. You will care for adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required
• Valid Georgia or Compact nursing license at time of submission

Schedule Details

• 4x10 day shifts
• 7–8 calls over 8 weeks, including 1 weekend call and 1–2 weekend shifts
• Call shifts: C1 (7 PM–7 AM) or C2 (7 AM–7 PM), plus 2–3 weekday night calls per 8-week period
• 2–3 weekends per 8-week schedule (in-house or on call)
• Work major holidays if they fall during your assignment
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Rare floating within facility scope of practice
