About this role

Tuba City Regional is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care across all age groups, performing nursing procedures based on physician orders, clinical standards, and hospital policies. Working independently and collaboratively with your team, you will deliver compassionate care to patients and support their families through acute and emergency situations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
  • Work independently in completing assignments following physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies
  • Provide nursing duties and support to individuals of all ages and their families

Required Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (current)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (current)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (current)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within one year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one year of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
  • Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire
  • Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire

Requirements:

  • Current RN license from any state (Arizona state license not required)
  • Flexible shift availability including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Orientation is provided every two weeks. Limited shared housing is available at $600 per month based on availability; housing does not allow families or pets.
