SLP Inpatient Job in Sioux City, IA

Join UnityPoint - Sioux City Downtown as a Speech and Language Pathologist on our inpatient team. This is a 91-day travel contract beginning September 14, 2026, offering a structured schedule and the opportunity to make a direct clinical impact in patient care.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide professional and clinical expertise in speech and language pathology as a member of the interdisciplinary care team
• Contribute to patient assessment, treatment planning, and management across inpatient settings
• May float within your discipline across local UnityPoint campuses as needed
• Work in the EPIC electronic medical record system

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 days (Monday–Friday, day shift)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Voluntary weekend schedule available
• Weekly pay: $2,563.20

Requirements

• Current Iowa state SLP license
• CPR and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Reside at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license address)
• Skills checklist completion within one year of application submission
• One supervisory reference at time of submission
• Mandatory reporter certification required
• Commitment to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one completed travel contract
