CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Rotating call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute call response time
• Cover both CT and general X-ray departments
• Perform a wide range of general exams including general X-ray, pain exams with C-arm, and CT imaging
• Send studies to radiologist for reading and complete all associated paperwork
• Average of approximately 20 exams per day during weekdays
• Must have both X-ray and CT experience
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Start IVs as required
• Utilize McKesson PACS and MediTech/MEDITECH charting systems
• Operate Toshiba CT scanner, Siemens mobile and general X-ray, and GE C-arm equipment
• No radiology supervisor or lead tech on shift - must be able to work independently
• 4 to 8 shifts of orientation provided or until comfortable taking call independently
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling allowed
• Scrubs required, no specific color requirement, scrubs are not provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), NDMIRT
