RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts in a 22-bed acute care unit
• 36 or 48 hours per week commitment
• 13-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Patient ratio of 1:4, occasionally 1:5
• Must adhere to facility float policy to other acute care units
• 48 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• BSN preferred
• Virginia nursing license accepted pending but must be in-hand by Wednesday before start date
• Nursys verification required for submittal
• Care for diverse patient population primarily comprised of general surgery and trauma patients
• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various skills including telemetry monitoring, wound care, central line management, and chest tube care
• All rooms equipped with cardiac monitoring, capnography, and continuous pulse oximetry
• Up to 40 hours of requested time off can be approved per contract
