Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule with four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirements included
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS (prefer ARRT but can accept RCIS if both not available)
• NY license required in hand to submit
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Floating to other units required
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Skills include cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left and right heart catheterizations
• Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, rotablader atherectomy procedures
• Responsibilities include scrub procedures, equipment setup, room circulation, maintaining sterile field
• Must recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and follow proper isolation precautions
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Complete pre-start modules varying by specialty (billable up to 5 hours)
