RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime paid after 48 hours worked
• 13-week contract assignment
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Must maintain contractor residence outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years experience with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 8-bed neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation assistance
• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements with neurosurgery
• Any scrub color permitted
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and manage tasks timely
• Associate degree or certificate education required
