Operating Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Operating Room in Santa Fe. You'll work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week on 8-hour schedules as a full-time team member.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegate responsibilities to other care providers

Assignment Details

Your primary assignment will be at PMC, but you must be willing to float to Main campus OR as staffing needs require. While there is no weekend requirement, you may volunteer to pick up call at Main campus. There is no on-call requirement, though you should expect to stay and complete scheduled cases if they extend past your block time. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS certification via AHA
• ACLS certification via AHA
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

This 91-day assignment begins May 11, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,323.20.
