Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with start date of 8/10
• Variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to the Emergency Department within competency required
• Can be low censused and placed on call with a minimum call back of 2 hours
• Patient ratios: 1:4-1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 average during night shifts
• 25-bed Med Surg unit primarily serving geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes
• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg experience with ICU and ER experience required
• Strong charting experience required: CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis for medication dispersion
• Required certifications: Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS; ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any colored scrubs permitted
• Must be located outside 50 miles of the facility
