Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Augusta, GA

You will work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Nuclear Medicine and Radiology department at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging studies
• Operate specialized nuclear medicine equipment and handle radioactive materials according to established protocols
• Follow all radiation safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine scans, including positioning and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Support the clinical team in delivering quality diagnostic imaging services

Schedule and Compensation

You will work five 8-hour shifts on days, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus on-call availability. Your weekly pay is $2,190.

About You

You hold an Allied Health Professional credential and are qualified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You have experience with nuclear medicine equipment, radioactive material handling, and radiation safety protocols. You communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and you maintain detailed documentation.
