ICU Registered Nurse Job in Barstow, CA

Barstow Community Hospital is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) for its Intensive Care Unit. This is a night shift position ideal for experienced nurses ready to make an impact in a dynamic critical care environment.

Position Details

• Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Duration: 84 days
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,365.20
• No on-call requirements

Your Role

You will plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to hospital mission and policies. You'll demonstrate exceptional knowledge and skill with a high sense of responsibility for your practice. As a role model and leader, you'll serve as an educator, provide support in mentoring and retention of nurses, and ensure coverage for staff on leave. You'll work under the leadership of the Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, and Charge Nurse.

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Important Note

Local candidates will not be accepted for this travel position. This assignment is designed for travel nurses seeking temporary placement outside their home area.
