Cath Lab Technologist Job in Carmichael, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay rate of $4,029.60.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4x10 days)
• Call coverage required, averaging 12 days per month with at least one weekend assignment
• 30-minute response time for call situations
• Holiday call assignments on a rotating basis

Your Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 8 cases per day in a 2-bed cardiac catheterization lab
• Scrub cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures, including PCI/STEMI cases
• Perform all cardiac invasive procedures except structural heart procedures
• Support peripheral procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases
• Use the Cerner electronic medical record system
• Wear hospital-provided scrubs
• No floating between units required

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of catheterization lab experience
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• BLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
• Two supervisor references from modality at submittal (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)

Floor-specific orientation typically takes 1–2 shifts depending on your skill level.
