PCU Registered Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, providing direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Schedule and Logistics

• 3x12 hour rotating shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: May 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,428.20

Unit and Responsibilities

• Primary assignment: HVTI-Stepdown unit
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED for same patient population

Experience and Licensure Requirements

• 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown specialty prior to travel
• 18 months of recent stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• Current permanent Ohio license or active compact state license in hand at start
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required

Required Certifications

• AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Pre-Start and Onboarding

• Complete 6–15 hours of pre-start modules (4 hours billable)
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation with acceptable score required
• Complete safeMedicate training during orientation with acceptable score required
• Two attempts maximum to pass required assessments; contract will be canceled if not met
• Badge pickup and onsite fingerprints at facility prior to start date
