Job Details:

• Perform various patient care activities and related services to care for the personal needs and comfort of patients
• Promote physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing of patients in alignment with facility philosophy and standards
• Provide care to a group of patients in conjunction with and under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current Washington State NA-C Certification required
• One year of acute care or long-term care experience preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed level
• Must be able to lift 5 pounds overhead
• Must be able to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed and push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Must have flexibility for kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, and climbing onto stretcher or bed
• Must have auditory ability to effectively perform procedures and take adequate blood pressures
• Must have adequate vision to observe patients and perform minimal charting activities
• Must have the ability to work as part of a team
