Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology @ Sutter Health Medical Center Sacramento

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Serve as Interventional Radiology RN with partial recovery room responsibilities for patients from deep organ biopsies and angio cases
• Call requirement once per week and every 5th weekend
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• 3-5 years recent relevant experience preferred
• Recovery experience with deep organ and angio cases highly preferred (PACU experience)
• IR/Cath Lab experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Prepare for and assist physicians in diagnostic and guidance imaging during invasive procedures
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated biological effects
• Complete routine and priority tasks within established departmental timeframes
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Non-billable modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours average)
