Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Join Christian Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our cardiac telemetry unit. You'll work the night shift caring for adult patients with cardiac diagnoses, including those recovering from TAVR, post-cardiac surgery, and post-PCI procedures.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 29, 2026
• Patient ratios: 1:5–6
• No on-call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage external pacemakers and chest tubes
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips (no titration)
• Perform BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration
• Maintain central line care and heparin protocols
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• BCLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Proficiency with telemetry systems and rhythm interpretation
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips
• EPIC charting system experience
• Willingness to float within the cardiac service line as needed

Additional Information:

• 6 weekend shifts required during the 6-week period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
• Navy scrubs required
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• Weekly pay: $2,262.82

You'll provide direct patient care in a structured night environment with defined patient loads and no unpredictable on-call demands. This role is ideal if you have solid cardiac nursing skills and prefer predictable scheduling.
