Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Join Prisma Health Richland Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our Med Surg/Telemetry unit. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week, primarily assigned to the Med Surg Ortho unit with flexibility to float to other MS/Tele units as census needs dictate. You'll care for adult patients with various diagnoses, managing a patient ratio of 5–6 per shift, including weekends.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a large healthcare facility
• Travel nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong orthopedic and med surg background
• Willingness to complete an EKG exam during onboarding

Preferred Qualifications:

• Charge nurse experience
• Level I Trauma experience

What To Expect:

• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours (up to 16 billable hours)
• Collaboration with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
• One pre-approved time off allowed per 91-day contract

This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning May 18, 2026. You'll receive $2,021.76 weekly. Weekend coverage is required, and you must be flexible to float to other Med Surg/Telemetry units when needed to support patient care demands.
