OR RN Job in State College, PA

Join Mount Nittany Health's surgical clinic as a Registered Nurse supporting a team of 7 surgeons in general, colorectal, and oral surgery. You'll work in a 12-room facility with 3 procedure rooms and 9 exam rooms, managing patient flow in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Room patients and assist providers with patient care
• Triage new patients and gather proper reports from outside sources
• Triage pre- and post-operative patients over the phone
• Provide wound support, suture removal, and dressing changes as ordered
• Complete FMLA, disability, and other patient paperwork
• Assist in office procedures
• Support front desk with clinically related issues

Schedule and Requirements:

You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one shorter 6-hour day per week to maintain 40 hours. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 29, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,336.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (renew every two years)
• One year nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills for patient triaging
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working extended periods standing, sitting, and walking
• Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids expected
