CVOR RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

IU Health Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a circulating position—scrubbing is not required.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 4x10 days (40 hours per week guaranteed)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 13, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,822.40
• Approximately 100 call hours per 6 weeks with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening through Monday morning)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Role Responsibilities

• Circulate cases involving heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO procedures
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float to other OR specialties as needed
• Utilize Cerner charting system

Required Qualifications

• RN degree with current Indiana license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license (must be in hand prior to start)
• BLS certification
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Experience with 3 out of 4 core cardiovascular procedures
• Level I Trauma experience (first-time travelers accepted if they meet this requirement)

Additional Information

• 40-hour orientation provided
• Endovascular procedures experience is a plus
