Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
• Active South Carolina RRT license required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Must be proficient in adult critical care work settings
• Experience required with extubation, nasal and oral airway placements, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Must be experienced with administering various respiratory medications including albuterol, Atrovent, combivent, and inhaled steroids
• Experience required with BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and mechanical ventilation weaning
• Must have experience with Servo U ventilator equipment
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
