*CHS Travel:Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Dept - Mids (1p)

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work mid shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• Floating to other departments required
• Emergency Department Level 3 Trauma unit
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 6-week scheduling blocks with maximum 1 RTO per schedule
• Call out requirement: minimum 2 hours prior to shift start
• Required to work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday based on department needs
• No call responsibilities required
• Scrub color: any color full uniform, no t-shirts/hoodies, only undershirts allowed under scrub tops
• EMR system: MedHost (EDIS)
• 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC
• NRP certification preferred
• New Mexico state fingerprinting required for all travelers
• Provide comprehensive emergency room patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient documentation
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives required
