Special Procedures Technologist in Chesapeake, VA

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for interventional radiology and cardiology. You will work Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with possible 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM start/end times), on a 4x10 schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, offering weekly pay of $3,168.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology and neurovascular procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, carotid stenting, embolization, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS procedures, and vertebroplasty
• Prep access sites and perform room circulation
• Maintain equipment and inventory
• Work with patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Participate in rotating on-call duties 2 weeks per month

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Valid Virginia license
• 3 years of experience in special procedures
• Certifications: ARRT CI, BLS, ACLS
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• Epic system experience required
• EKG testing required with 80% pass rate (one attempt, no remediation)
• Fit testing with no PAPR accommodation available
• No license or background hits accepted

• Complete 3 hours of billable modules before your start date
• First-time travelers will be considered
