Ultrasound Technologist Job in Tacoma, WA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at VMFH Maternal Fetal Medicine in Tacoma, Washington. You will join a dedicated team in a high-risk maternal fetal medicine environment, performing specialized ultrasound studies in an acute care setting.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
• Two shift options: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 30-minute lunch break included
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,879
• Assignment start date: October 19, 2026

Role Responsibilities

• Perform detailed anatomy scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), growth studies, Dopplers, and twins studies
• Complete an average of 8 to 10 studies per day
• Operate GE and Phillips ultrasound machines
• Use ViewPoint charting interface between EPIC and PACS
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Primary location in Tacoma with potential coverage at three additional satellite sites
• Acute care setting focused on maternal fetal medicine
• No IV starts required

Requirements

• Valid ARDMS certification (current at time of submittal)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Valid driver's license
• Scrubs in any color (not provided)
• Ability to work independently and as a self-starter
