Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work with equipment including Hamilton T-1 Ventilator, Airvo, BiPAP/CPAP
• Hamilton T-1 Ventilator experience highly preferred; Hamilton vent experience required
• Airvo experience required; BiPAP/CPAP experience required
• Treat patients of all ages, primarily adults with occasional neonate/pediatric patients in the ED
• Work across 12 Med Surg beds and 12 ED beds
• Scrubs: any color solid tops and bottoms
• No on-call responsibilities
• Every 5th weekend schedule required
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Minimum 15 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting required
• 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience reflected in work history required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted with 1-3 week turnaround time
• First-time travelers welcomed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NBRC
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapy required
• Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
