Job Details:

• Work day/evening shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts with rotating 30 and 40 hour weeks
• Will be required to take call
• May float in rotation and required to float as a sitter
• Washington State or Compact RN licensure required
• CVOR experience required along with general OR experience and cardiac experience
• Must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Conduct holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
• Teach patients, families, and significant others appropriate health information in a timely manner
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to hospital and unit policies
• Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit specific standards of practice
