Telemetry RN Job in Altoona, PA

You will provide telemetry nursing care at UPMC Altoona, where you'll monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac observation. In this 12-hour shift role, you'll be responsible for assessing patients with cardiac conditions, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and responding appropriately to changes in patient status.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Deliver comprehensive telemetry nursing care with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions requiring specialized observation
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred

This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026. You'll earn $2,332.80 weekly, working 12-hour shifts at a hospital facility equipped to support your clinical practice. You'll join a dedicated team committed to cardiac patient care and have the opportunity to build experience in a specialized nursing environment.
