Oncology RN Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 27-bed Oncology unit in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 8, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly pay: $2,890.80
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays; you must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Day counts as 1)
• One additional shift per schedule period is required
• Potential to float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for oncology and medical-surgical patients, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients and their families. Your role includes administering various chemotherapies and immunotherapies such as HD Methotrexate, induction and consolidation therapy for Leukemias, Rituximab, R-EPOCH, and R-CHOP. You will provide comprehensive nursing services and support to this diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Current Nevada RN license required before start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Minimum 6 months of recent chemotherapy/oncology experience
• BLS certification required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification preferred; chemo certification will be required upon future submissions
