OR RN Job in Kingman, AZ

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: four 10-hour shifts per week, days
• Duration: 91 days
• Location: Kingman, AZ (50-mile radius restriction for local candidates)
• Orientation: 12 hours of non-billable orientation required

Qualifications

• Current valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience (within past 6 months)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program graduate
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Strong Meditech charting system experience
• Basic EKG competency required

Responsibilities

• Implement patient nursing care based on identified nursing diagnoses and care standards
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and clinical disciplines on care decisions
• Provide patient education and involve family and significant others appropriately
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans based on reassessment data
• Complete comprehensive documentation including nursing assessments, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain patient communication boards and perform hourly rounds
• Provide bedside shift reports and apply AIDET communication techniques

• Exposure Category I position with routine potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks
