Registered Nurse - SICU @ WellSpan York Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Work holidays as needed, expected to work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays
• May float to all ICU floors
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and TNCC
• EPIC charting experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Maximum 7 days return to offer (RTO)
• Clean nursing license required with no hits accepted
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 10-bed unit
• Manage patients with vascular surgeries, complex abdominal surgeries, and various intensive care conditions
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT and wound vacs
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator care, vasoactive drip titration, and critical care procedures
