ICU RN Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking a full-time RN for its ICU unit. You will work a 3x12 rotating schedule with day and night shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), providing acute care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a variable ICU environment with weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Manage multiple priorities, coordinate care across disciplines, and maintain professional patient interactions
• Handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate professional behavior consistent with facility Healing Environment principles
• Document care and communicate effectively using electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State registered professional nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS completed during clinical orientation through RQI system)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Computer literacy with electronic medical record experience preferred

Recommended Certifications

• Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification within 2 years
• Trauma Nurses Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years

Assignment Details

This is a 96-week travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You will be based at Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital, located at 196 North St, Geneva, NY. Weekly pay is $2,265.12.
