PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 24-bed unit with daily census of 24
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions, cardiac drip management, PCA, peripheral line care, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care, and wound vac management
• Experience with post-cardiac procedures, stroke care, traumatic brain injury, and renal failure management
• Must complete RTO (Return to Operate) requirements
• Expected to work some holidays
• Must pass on-site drug screen with comprehensive panel testing
• All documentation must be submitted 3 business days prior to start date
