Emergency Room RN Job in Fort Defiance, AZ

Tsehootsooi Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a flexible 3x12 schedule, typically rotating 7 days on and 7 days off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. The contract runs for 91 days, beginning August 9, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $3,068.

Role and Responsibilities

• Rotate regularly through the Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit areas
• Provide care in various assignments including Triage, Quick Registration, and Entry Screening
• Work in different areas daily or during shifts based on patient volume and unit needs
• Float to other departments as qualified, including assuming patient loads or performing task-oriented duties
• Be available for potential day shift coverage to accommodate staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in Emergency Department specialty
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current conscious sedation certification

You may request a maximum of one week off during the contract period if needed. Shifts may change to accommodate facility staffing requirements. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic emergency care environment with rotation across multiple specialty areas.
