CVICU Registered Nurse Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 7, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights
• Weekday and weekend shifts required
• Weekly pay: $1,932

Clinical Role

You will provide direct care to post-cardiac surgery patients and those requiring advanced hemodynamic support. Patient ratios are 1:2 based on acuity, with occasional step-down level patients. You may float to Medical ICU or Step-Down Unit as needed.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Direct experience with fresh open-heart admissions from OR
• ACT (Activated Clotting Time) management
• Pressure monitoring and Swan-Ganz catheter management
• Impella monitoring and CRRT
• Arterial line management
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Central line care
• Ventilator management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• IABP and ventricular assist device management
• Post-cardiac surgery care including CABG, valve repair and replacement, and TAVR
• CVVHD and CRRT

Required Credentials

• Valid West Virginia or Compact nursing license
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
