Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule
• On-call weekend rotation every 7 weeks
• May be required to work flexible hours
• Produce two or three dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures
• Perform echocardiographic examinations including M-mode, 2D or 3D Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiograms
• Work consistently in Adult Echo/Stress/TEE/Call Coverage with possible pediatric cases
• Assess, prepare and perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations using clinical judgment
• Recognize arrhythmias and take appropriate action by notifying physician of abnormal readings
• Maintain equipment and work area in proper working condition
• Document patient and procedural information in medical records with 98% accuracy
• Educate patients and families about procedures
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from accredited program required
• BLS certification required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required
