<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5x8 hour shifts with varying start times from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and ending times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM<br>• No holiday coverage required<br>• No on-call requirements<br>• May be required to work Saturdays twice per month if needed for PETCT scans due to equipment issues or excessive backlog<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted<br>• Level 1 and Level 2 trauma experience preferred<br>• Siemens equipment experience required<br>• Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT), SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography<br>• Scrub colors: Teal top with black pants<br>• Epic charting system experience preferred<br>• Work with all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac studies, and other nuclear imaging<br>• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only<br>• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a large teaching hospital and Magnet-designated healthcare facility with 865 staffed beds. The facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive medical services and advanced nuclear medicine imaging capabilities.
