Cath Lab Technologist Job in Des Moines, IA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at UnityPoint - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. This temporary position begins July 6, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work a 5x8 rotating shift schedule with 36–40 hours per week. This role includes on-call responsibilities of 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend from 7:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday. You may be required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit closes. Overtime is billable after 40 hours per week (or after 48 hours per week depending on scheduling). You will float across all Des Moines campuses to like units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrub independently and proficiently in the Cath Lab
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain EPIC EMR competency
• Accept on-call assignments as required

Requirements

• 24 months minimum experience in Cath Lab
• Travel healthcare experience within the previous 18 months
• Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Professional references from charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within 24 months preferred

Preferred Experience

Structural heart, interventional radiology, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular experience are preferred but not required.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,225.60. Benefits and additional details are available upon request.
