Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Full-time position with no weekend or on-call requirements
• Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures in nuclear medicine
• Provide support for other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance programs
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by licensing
• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS system
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Graduate of accredited radiology technology school required
• 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Louisiana LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBE required
• BLS certification required
• Basic computer experience required
