X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Rad Tech type: Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 10-hour shifts scheduled with start times cascading from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage may be required as needed
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Rotate through multiple areas on a weekly basis including General Radiology (X-ray), outpatient clinic, Inpatient and Outpatient Fluoroscopy, Outpatient Ortho Clinic, ER, fluoro/X-ray room in CCU, and OR (34 rooms)
• Perform general imaging, fluoroscopy, OR, and portable studies
• Expected to cover all areas including Fluoroscopy and OR with proficiency in operating O-arm and C-arm equipment
• Average daily volume includes approximately 6-7 C-arm cases in OR, 10 fluoroscopy exams, and 73 general X-rays
• Work with department-specific equipment including Philips DR and CR X-ray rooms, GE DR portable machines, Ziehm and GE/OEC C-arms, and Siemens O-arms
• Use Cerner Power Chart, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS systems
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; ER experience preferred
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• Washington state license required at time of submittal
• Agency must provide Rad Badge for traveler
• Dress code: Navy, gray, or a mix of navy and gray scrubs; scrubs provided when working in the OR - wear casual clothes (no loungewear) when arriving to change into OR scrubs
