Physical Therapist Acute Care Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care rehabilitation services. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,678.40
• Patient populations: Adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
• Focus areas: Gait training, strength testing, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Clinical experience: Orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, cardiac rehabilitation, and post-surgical care

Requirements:

• Current physical therapy license in-hand before your start date
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• 1 weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with a day off the following week)

Onboarding:

• Complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer
• Submit hard documents 3 business days prior to your start date
• Orientation includes 2–3 hours of online modules (non-billable if completed within the first 16 hours)
