Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shift 5x8 schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call rotation for weekends required
• Call requirements: 10-15 days per month including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Must live within 30 minutes from hospital
• 1-2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Must have interventional cardiology experience
• BLS certification from AHA required
• RCIS certification preferred
• Critical Care experience preferred
• Patient ratio: 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Work in 2-bed unit with cardiac and peripheral procedural patients
• Scrub and assist providers in diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and peripheral procedures
• Experience required with cath lab equipment including IABPs, Impella, Penumbra, CSI
• Ability to run table and move C Arm during procedures
• Experience with sheath removal and maintaining hemostasis
• Must be able to multitask in high stress situations
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1 (no exceptions)
• Must be team player, versatile, flexible, and get along well with others
