Job Details:

• Work night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 patients
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 120 visits per day in a 54-bed emergency department
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Prophecy Relias advanced EKG, CEN
• 3 years of emergency department experience required
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Float within hospital as needed within scope of practice
• Work in Primary Stroke Center with specialized behavioral health units
• Manage rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs
• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, trauma care, and procedural sedation
• Complete virtual modules on first day (up to 8 hours) and annually
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
