Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-room cardiac catheterization laboratory with 1:1 patient ratios
• Perform heart catheterizations, interventional procedures, pacemaker and AICD implantations, Watchman procedures, and EP ablations
• Handle peripheral venous/arterial procedures
• Operate specialized equipment including IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, and ultrasound
• Work with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Float to IR, ICU (if competent), and pre/post PACU cath as needed
• Required to be on call every other weekend and every other night during the week
• Must respond within 30 minutes for callback situations
• Required certifications: ACLS
• Must have IABP and Impella experience
• Must have interventional catheterization peripheral/coronary experience
• EP experience preferred but not required
• Navy scrubs required
• Work alongside 2 monitor techs, 2 RNs, and 2 techs during day shift
• Night shift available for callbacks only
