Pharmacist Job in West Union, IA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union, IA, starting May 4, 2026.

Position Details

• Work 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, three days per week on a blocked schedule
• 24 guaranteed hours per week (GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week)
• No float, on-call, or callback responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Holiday coverage as needed; facility may be closed during certain holidays
• On-site duplex housing provided at no cost for working days

Responsibilities

You will provide pharmaceutical services across critical access, inpatient, outpatient, chemotherapy/outpatient infusion, and compounding settings. Your role requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Iowa Pharmacist License
• Minimum 1+ year of hospital pharmaceutical experience
• EPIC Willow experience required
• Experience in critical access, inpatient, outpatient, chemo/outpatient infusion, and compounding

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,168.
