Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Syracuse, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at SUNY Upstate University Hospital - Downtown Campus in Syracuse, NY. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call weekend and weekday coverage on a rotational basis.

About the Role

You will perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists, operating imaging equipment efficiently to obtain quality studies. Your responsibilities include greeting patients, explaining examinations, and properly positioning patients for imaging. You will set proper exposure factors to obtain required quality radiographs and practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to minimize patient radiation exposure.

Additional duties include processing films and inputting information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposes, reporting any equipment malfunctions to your immediate supervisor, and following department procedures and protocols as defined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.

Requirements

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• NYS license/registration required
• One year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Vascular procedures preferred
• Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment preferred

Schedule: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM)

Weekly Pay: $4,435.20
