Cath Lab Technologist Job in Bloomington, IL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 2, 2026, offering a 4x9 day shift schedule with weekly pay of $3,153.60.

Your Schedule and Duties

• Work four 9-hour day shifts per week, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities: 2–3 nights per week, every third weekend, and 2–3 holidays per year
• Handle approximately 5 cases per day including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line placement, drain placement, and loop recorders
• Operate in 2 labs with 1 hybrid room and a 6-bed recovery area; one lab features BiPlane capability
• Typically do not float to other departments

Equipment and Systems

• Work with Philips monitoring equipment, Philips tables, and McKesson systems
• Document in Epic electronic medical records
• Preferred experience with Philips equipment and McKesson systems

Requirements and Qualifications

• Active Illinois license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Recent experience with heart catheterizations and peripheral catheterizations
• Allied Health Professional credential

Orientation and Support

• 32-hour unit-specific orientation over 4 shifts
• Hospital scrubs provided
