OB Technician Job in Ewa Beach, HI

Queen's Medical Center - Manamana is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for obstetric support on an AM shift schedule. You'll work 4x10 hours per week (40 hours guaranteed) for a 16-week contract beginning September 28, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide scrub and surgical technology support in obstetric operating rooms
• Float to other areas within your skillset as operational needs require
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgical teams during OB procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• NBSTSA - CST or NCCT certification (must be current and valid)
• Two or more years of full-time staff experience as a CST/ORT
• Two or more years of full-time staff experience as an Obstetric Surgical Technologist
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or Operating Room Tech training program
• Current AHA BLS certification (valid through contract duration)
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid from application submission through the end of contract

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in comparable size medical centers (500+ beds)
• Level 1 Trauma Center background
• Same Day Surgery Center experience

Contract Terms:

• Compensation: $2,652 weekly
• Shift: 4x10 AM days
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Requested time off during initial contract limited to maximum 7 days (Wednesday through Wednesday)
