Job Details:

• Day shift position working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 5x8 shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Float within the same department only if there is a call-in
• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist and/or ordering physician
• Cover CT duties within ER, inpatient, and outpatient departments as needed during shift
• Apply principles of radiation safety and organize daily schedule as a dedicated resource to CT team
• Operate GE Revolution Ascend equipment and work within EPIC EMR system
• Perform venipuncture for instillation of CT contrast and use pressure injector correctly for contrast injections
• Efficient with CTA/stroke studies including 3D reconstruction
• Verify image transfer via UltraVisual on all exams and troubleshoot teleradiology system
• Patient ratio is 1:1 within a 35-bed unit
• Must wear black scrubs; no other scrub colors are acceptable
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting with X-ray experience required
• Must be registered with the ARRT in Radiography and CT
• BLS certification from AHA only required
