About this role

You'll work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Tiffany Heights in Mound City, MO. This is a 91-day assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule and no weekend requirements unless a holiday falls on a weekday.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Administer various procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as needed
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
  • Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences
  • Work with your supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary durable medical equipment or supplies
  • Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist

Requirements:

  • 1 year of PTA experience required
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
  • Active Missouri PTA license required
  • Must adhere to APTA and State required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
  • No on-call responsibilities

You'll work 5 days per week at 8 hours per day, earning $1,670.40 weekly. Your assignment begins May 18, 2026.
